Hofstadter butterfly in graphene
Hofstadter butterfly is a very rare multi-fractal structure appearing in quantum mechanics. This is a result of interplays between the periodic potential and the external magnetic field. In this talk, I will present how the self-similar structures of the Hofstadter butterfly in graphene look like. Then I will talk about topological aspects of the diagram which are directly related to recent experimental observations.
