산화물 세계로의 초대: 산화물의 재미있는 특성과 박막의 합성 및 그 응용
Recently, due to the limitation that conventional semiconductor devices are faced, the mining for new functionalities in materials has been much attention for physicists as well as material engineers. In particular, the growth of epitaxial thin films with exotic properties is of importance since a fabrication of any material into the form of thin film is a prerequisite for real device applications. In this point of view, transition oxide thin films present an opportunity to explore functional devices which are expected to overcome the weak point of conventional semiconductor devices. In this presentation, I will introduce various oxide materials with exotic properties and discuss on their epitaxial growth and also physical properties.
